Important Crop Insurance Dates to Keep in Mind
Now that the March 15th sales closing date has passed for multi-peril crop insurance for 2022, there are still other dates to keep in mind.
- June 15, 2022 - Sales closing date for companion hail plans
- July 1, 2022 - Sales closing date to purchase wind and green snap endorsement on crop hail policies
Hail is one peril that can decimate a portion of your field and leave the rest undamaged. This policy can provide protection on a per-acre basis. And with hail insurance, we can offer a wind and green snap endorsement as well. - July 15, 2022 - Final acreage reporting date for all spring planted crops with multi-peril insurance coverage.
- July 31, 2022 - Sales closing date for fall seeded forage seeding policies
- August 15, 2022 - Cash discount deadline for crop hail policies
