Paul Rudersdorf, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank (SFB), is pleased to announce that Scott Erickson has been promoted to market president for Bloomer. In this position, Erickson will be responsible for connecting SFB's banking resources to companies, families, and individuals in Bloomer. He also will lead SFB's effort to continue to build a strong Bloomer community.

"Scott is as an exceptional banker," Rudersdorf said. "He will be an asset to the Bloomer area as he builds relationships with clients, employees, and the community."

Erickson has served as a relationship manager for SFB for the past four years in Eau Claire. While he works with all types of industries, he has special expertise in helping the trucking, excavating, construction, and manufacturing industries with their business banking needs.

Before joining SFB in 2016, Erickson served as a commercial lender for another financial institution and has experience as a commercial real estate agent.

Erickson earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is an active volunteer for the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin and serves on the Hospital Sister Health System Foundation Board.

In addition to his new role, Erickson will continue to be committed to the Eau Claire market and will split his time between SFB's Eau Claire and Bloomer offices.
