Security Financial Bank Increases Commitment to Children's Museum to $60,500
Security Financial Bank (SFB) has pledged an additional $35,500 to support the Children's Museum of Eau Claire's Play Your Part Capital Campaign, bringing the bank's total commitment to $60,500.
The museum's new building opened in January 2023 following an initial campaign that raised more than $8 million of the $15.5 million total cost. The final phase of the Play Your Part Capital Campaign seeks to raise the remaining $7 million to complete the financing for the building and support long-term sustainability.
"Security Financial Bank's generosity is a powerful investment in the families of our community," said Mike Lee, CEO of the Children's Museum of Eau Claire. "We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and their belief in the museum's mission of helping children grow, learn, and play. Committed community partners like Security Financial Bank ensure that innovative programs, inspiring exhibits, and a welcoming environment will be available for generations to come."
SFB contributed $25,000 during the campaign's first phase of fundraising.
"We recognize the important role the Children's Museum plays in the heart of downtown Eau Claire and throughout our region, providing a vibrant place where children and families can learn, explore and connect," said Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank. "We're proud to continue our support of this important community resource, and we hope our commitment encourages other local businesses and organizations to consider how they, too, can play a part in helping the museum complete its campaign and build a strong, sustainable future."
