Scott Erickson Takes on New Challenge with Ag Banking Transition

Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank (SFB), is pleased to announce that Scott Erickson has transitioned his role at SFB from a commercial relationship manager to an agriculture relationship manager.

“This transition was a strategic decision to best serve the needs of our customers,” Oldenberg said. “Scott is an experienced and talented banker who will be an asset to our Ag Banking Team.

Erickson has been with SFB since 2016 as a commercial relationship manager and has been the Bloomer market president for two years. In his new role, Erickson will continue to serve as market president and will be responsible for connecting SFB's banking resources to ag producers, businesses, families, and individuals in the Bloomer community.

“I am excited for this opportunity as it will allow me to work with those I have admired in an industry I am passionate about,” said Erickson. “SFB has strong roots in the agricultural industry with a team of experts who have a wealth of knowledge. I couldn’t be happier to immerse myself in this new role with all the support the SFB team will continue to provide me.”

Erickson earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is an active volunteer and advocate for the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin.

Erickson’s office will continue to be located in Bloomer and can be reached at serickson@sfbank.com or 715.930.7024.
