Be Aware of Spoofed Calls
Be alert of spoofed call scams to businesses. These calls may appear to come from Security Financial Bank (SFB), but they are actually from scammers attempting to gain access to business accounts.
Please know that SFB's systems remain secure and have not been compromised. These fraudulent calls are part of a broader scam trend affecting many financial institutions across the country. The callers often pretend to be bank representatives and may ask for sensitive information - such as online banking credentials, verification codes, or approval for ACH or wire transfers. They may even claim to have detected a suspicious payment to make their call sound convincing.
Important Reminders:
- If you receive a call or text message that seems suspicious, do not share sensitive financial information.
- Hang up and contact SFB directly using a number you know and trust. Our team is always happy to confirm any requests and help keep your accounts safe.
- Share this information with your team to help others stay aware.
