Staff Volunteered at Local Organizations During Power of Community Week

Power of Community Week, held during National Community Banking Month and Financial Literacy Month, highlights the connection between Wisconsin communities and their hometown banks.

In April, SFB team members volunteered across our communities by:

  • Reading to local classrooms for Teach Children to Save Day and sharing why saving and financial literacy matter.
  • Packing bulk food items into smaller containers and organizing food distribution at Feed My People Food Bank and Friends Sharing Food pantry.
  • Sponsoring and volunteering at Camp Nawakwa's Earth Day event to help prepare the camp for the season.
  • Cleaning up our Adopt-a-Highway segments to help keep local roadsides clean.

We're proud to support the communities we serve and to join the Wisconsin Bankers Association in celebrating the ways banks power Wisconsin.
