Security Financial Bank Breaks Ground on New Administrative Office, Investing in Local Growth
Security Financial Bank (SFB) broke ground on a new 25,000-square-foot administrative office location during a ceremony held on April 7 at 1610 Princeton Crossing, just off the Highway 53 Bypass in Eau Claire.
The event, hosted in partnership with the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls Chambers of Commerce, featured remarks from regional business and civic leaders alongside SFB President & CEO Mark Oldenberg. The new facility will serve as SFB's corporate office and is expected to include a full-service bank branch, modern workspaces, and meeting areas. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 100 employees at full capacity, supporting SFB's long‑term workforce growth while creating a modern environment for collaboration and client services.
Construction will be led by Eau Claire-based contractor Market & Johnson, with project completion anticipated in spring 2027.
"By hiring local contractors and subcontractors, we're investing directly in the communities we serve," Oldenberg said. "These partnerships help create local jobs, support family‑owned businesses, and keep project dollars circulating within the regional economy. It's important to us that this investment benefits not just our organization, but the broader Chippewa Valley community as well."
The new corporate office complements SFB's existing branch network across western Wisconsin. In addition to the new location, SFB will continue to serve customers at its existing Eau Claire branch at 4217 Southtowne Drive, as well as in Alma Center, Black River Falls, Bloomer, Durand, Ladysmith, and River Falls.
