Community Volunteer Day 2026
While the bank was closed for the Juneteenth federal holiday, SFB employees worked together volunteering in the community. Each branch completed volunteer projects to help nonprofit organizations in the market areas they serve. In total, we completed service projects with 25 organizations and volunteered 556 hours in the community.
United Way Greater Chippewa Valley had bartending shifts available for Summer Jam in Eau Claire where the shift and tip money was donated to United Way. Employees from various branches volunteered and had a good time serving drinks at the festival.
Alma Center and Black River Falls employees assisted the Black River Falls Parks Department and Friends Sharing Food Inc.
Bloomer staff volunteered at the Bloomer Area Food Pantry, Twice Blessed Thrift Store, and Bloomer Public Library.
Corporate office staff lent a hand to the Boys and Girls Club, L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library, L.E. Phillips Senior Center, and Eau Claire Area Humane Association.
Durand employees split up into groups to work on projects at Assumption Catholic School, Pepin County Food Pantry, Faith Lutheran Church, Pepin County Dairy Promotion, Adopt-a-Highway, Wisconsin Foster Closet, Ave Maria Academy, and Plum City Schools.
Eau Claire branch employees assisted the Eau Claire Parks and Recreation Department with volunteer projects.
Ladysmith employees supported Rusk County Animal Shelter, Rusk County Fairgrounds, and Village of Glen Flora with service work.
River Falls staff volunteered their efforts at Our Neighbors' Place, the Sycamore of River Falls, and Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center.
We appreciate the time to work together and assist in making our communities a better place.
