Community Volunteer Day 2025

While the bank was closed for the Juneteenth federal holiday, SFB employees worked together to volunteer in the community. Each branch completed volunteer projects to help nonprofit organizations in their market areas.

Alma Center and Black River Falls employees assisted at the Strawfest Grounds in Alma Center helping to prepare for the upcoming Strawberry Festival.

Bloomer staff split up into groups to volunteer at Pony Tales Refuge, the Bloomer Library, and the Bloomer/New Auburn Food Pantry.

Durand employees participated in projects at Pepin Food Pantry, Faith Lutheran Church, Durand-Arkansaw Schools, Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School, Assumption Catholic School, St Vincent de Paul, and Forest Hill Cemetery.

The Corporate office staff lent a hand to Beaver Creek Reserve, Western Dairyland Head Start, Boys & Girls Club, Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley, and the LE Phillips Senior Center.

Eau Claire branch employees assisted Irvine Park and Eau Claire Children's Theatre with volunteer projects.

Ladysmith employees supported Rusk Area Library, Village of Sheldon, Rusk County Animal Shelter, and Rusk County Fairgrounds with service work.

River Falls staff volunteered their efforts at Camp St. Croix and Soul Space Sanctuary.

We appreciate the time to work together and assist in making our communities a better place. In total, we completed 25 service projects and volunteered 749 hours in the community.
