Celebrating Curt Van Auken's Retirement from Security Financial Bank
After 50 years in community banking, Curt Van Auken will retire from Security Financial Bank (SFB) at the end of the year.
Curt joined SFB as one of the bank's first employees in the Eau Claire market and has served as market president from the start. His leadership and steady guidance have helped establish SFB's presence in the Chippewa Valley and demonstrated its commitment to serving local clients and communities.
"Throughout his career, Curt has been known for his professionalism, sound judgment, and dedication to his clients," said Mark Oldenberg, SFB president & CEO. "His deep knowledge of community banking and consistent focus on service have earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike."
During his tenure at SFB, Curt has been active in the community serving on numerous boards and committees including the Board of Directors for Hope Gospel Mission, Chippewa Valley Museum, Triniteam, and LE Phillips Career Development Center. He currently also serves on the Village of Fall Creek Plan Commission.
As Curt begins this new chapter, SFB extends sincere appreciation for his many years of service and leadership. We hope his retirement continues to be filled with great times with family and friends.
