An Update on Penny Distribution

The U.S. Department of the Treasury made the decision to end production of the penny in November 2025. Pennies are still valid to make purchases and deposit, however, over time, fewer pennies will be available in circulation or to withdraw.

Please note that normal penny roll orders will continue to be fulfilled for our business customers. We will remain filling usual orders until our supply is depleted. However, we will no longer fulfill any special penny orders.

As our penny supply is depleted, cash transactions will likely be rounded to the nearest five cents, while digital transactions will remain the same. Policy discussions are underway to formalize the change and establish consistent rounding rules for cash transactions. We will keep you updated as this process progresses.
