Alex Bliven Takes on New Role as Portfolio Manager

Mark Oldenberg, president & CEO of Security Financial Bank (SFB), is pleased to announce that Alex Bliven has been promoted to commercial portfolio manager and will join our Business Banking Team.

Bliven joined SFB as a credit analyst in July 2024. As a commercial portfolio manager, he will assist in structuring deposit and loan products to meet the unique needs of clients.  

"Seeing the positive impact SFB has on the communities we serve motivated me to pursue this next step in business lending, where I can play a more direct role in building those relationships," said Bliven.

"Alex has shown a strong commitment to learning, understanding our customers' needs, and building meaningful relationships since joining Security Financial Bank," Oldenberg said. "We're proud to support him as he begins this next chapter at SFB."

A graduate of UW-Eau Claire, Bliven is a member of Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley and is participating in Leadership Eau Claire starting in August.

In this new role, Bliven is looking forward to learning from his colleagues and mentors at SFB. "I'm excited to continue learning, taking on new challenges, and contributing to the team's success," Bliven said.
