Key Dates for Multi-Peril Crop Insurance

Understanding the important dates for Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) is crucial for farmers to ensure they are adequately covered. Below are the key dates for 2026: 

Planting Dates by Crop and County

The early planting dates vary by crop type and are specific to your county. Refer to the crop dates map for more information.

Production Reporting Due Date

For 2025 crops, the final production reporting due date is April 29, 2026. 

Acreage Reporting Final Date

The final date for acreage reporting is July 15, 2026. Once you have completed planting your crops, please ensure that you certify your acres with FSA. Then, bring in your FSA 578s and colored field maps into our office or email to jausen@sfbank.com.
